Safety starts with a plan Atlantic Roofers Ltd. has developed a comprehensive Health & Safety/Loss Control program to assist in managing the risks inherent in the construction industry. This program is implemented on all of our worksites by well informed trained employees. Our Health & Safety/Loss Control Program has met the critical qualifications of the Loss Control “Certificate of Recognition (COR) programs in all provinces in which we do business that require COR certification.
To insure a safe workplace Atlantic Roofers Ltd. performs comprehensive pre-job risk assessments at all worksites to insure all hazards are identified and reported. A plan is then undertaken to either eliminate the hazard or take the protective measures necessary to prevent the possibility of injury or property loss.
Atlantic Roofers Ltd. verifies the training of all our employees and contractors to insure They are trained in the necessary areas of construction safety. All new-hires undergo mandatory orientation and safety training.
Our Employees attend weekly workplace safety meetings, we undertake worksite inspections and regular work site safety audits to ensure that we deliver in maintaining a safe workplace and providing customers with the highest safety standards in the roofing industry from the beginning to end of the project. |

You benefit from Our full time company safety coordinator is a qualified professional (Certified Heath & Safety Consultant – Canadian Society of Safety Engineering and Construction Health & Safety Officer – Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association) with many years of experience in the area of Loss Control.
